I didn't get an email from the assoc, and I'm a life member. Although I don't

Re: The great Star license crash that is coming

Where WA has both types of license and you pay extra for the star/enhanced one, it seems Texas went to issuing a star license only, about 3 years ago. And the Texas DMV website doesn't mention any extra documents to get the star license, they just send it to you like Jerry said. I guess they figure ...

Re: The great Star license crash that is coming

In WA state it is called an "enhanced" driver's license. I got one when I moved back here from AZ. It did take some time, but I only had to bring a couple of documents. It is good for driving (not flying) to and from Canada and Mexico without a passport. And only good for domestic flights....

Calley actually served 3½ years of house arrest, but that doesn't alter anyone's view of the whole thing.
This is where there are many differing opinions about the outcome in both cases.

Re: 4th of July 2019

July 4, 1970 ..... I was exactly 2 weeks from being discharged, sitting in Hawaii just waiting to go home. I don't remember anything about the 4th that year, just focused on getting out. In another week the Army would ship my car and household goods to the states, then the last few days were spent a...

SP packs..........

A friend gave me some magazines about the Viet Nam war and on one of the pages was a photo of guys taking cartons of cigarettes, candy, and other item out of a big cardboard box with big black "SP" letters on it. The caption said it was a "Sundries Package" being shared by the me...

Well, I guess that's one way to get around the fact that his Vietnam stories were proven to be lies,
just say some of the book is fiction....

Re: 50th anneversary January 12th, 1969 Cai Nua

That day in January was before I came out to the 6/31st, I was still in the Artillery unit at that time. Although there is a slim possibility we fired support for you guys that day, I'll never know because we never knew what we were firing at, or for who. FDC knew who and what, but us guys on the gu...

In the latest 31st Regiment newsletter from last month, there are several pages of deceased.

That would be great if they stop in Mexico, and no one gets hurt, a win-win.
I see that some militia groups are saying they will go to the border to "help" stop them,
that would not end well.......

Re: The not living up to our values world

It seems that we don't do a very good job of living up to our values, yet our government seems to expect the rest of the world to live up to them. So the Saudi's killed that guy, they have a hit squad, we have a hit squad called the Navy Seals..... just ask bin Laden..... oh wait, never mind. I'm n...
